Howard Solomon, MD - Urology
Dr. Soloman received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Vermont. He completed his straight surgery
internship at the Tripler Army Medical Center at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio and finished with his residency at Brooke Army Medical Center, also
at Ft. Sam Houston. Soloman is licensed to practice medicine in Vermont, South Carolina and Texas.
Soloman is a Colonel in the United States Army, where he has served extensively. His other honors include: Assistant Chief of
Urology Service, Brooke Army Medical Center; Consultant in Urology at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Kerrville, Texas and the Darnell
Army Hospital in Ft. Hood, Texas and he serves at seven different hospitals.
He has membership in the following: Texas Medical Association, American Urological Association, American Urological Association –
South Central Section, Texas Urological Association, San Antonio Urological Association, San Antonio Surgical Society, Fellow American College of
Surgeons and the Association of Military Surgeons of the United States.
Soloman boasts 14 publications and a movie, The Use of Full Thickness Free Skin Grafts in the Treatment of Urethral Strictures in
the Male, shown at the Denver, Colorado, American College of Surgeons Meeting in 1979.
